Supporting Continental Confederations
-
Long-term Support: It is imperative that Continental Confederations receive more individualized support programs with longer-term funding and strategies. A one-year period is insufficient to embed good governance or realize comprehensive strategic plans. We need to extend our timelines and resources to ensure sustainable growth and development in every region aligned to our quadrennial funding.
-
Customized Assistance: Provide customized assistance to Continental Confederations based on their unique needs and challenges, ensuring they have the resources and expertise required for growth.
-
Collaboration and Networking: Improve inter-continent collaboration and networking opportunities among to share best practices, resources, and support.

Promoting Integrity and Sustainability Worldwide
-
Fair Play and Integrity: I will work diligently to uphold and strengthen the principles of fair play and integrity on the international stage. By enhancing our ethical standards, we will protect the sanctity of global competitions and importantly deliver governance improvements.
-
Educational Campaigns: Launch new educational campaigns on fair play, anti-doping, and sportsmanship, targeting athletes, coaches, and officials to uphold the highest standards of integrity.
-
Environmental Sustainability: We must commit to environmentally sustainable practices in all our international activities. This includes reducing our global carbon footprint, promoting green initiatives, and engaging in partnerships that drive environmental sustainability within sports. Our venues, particularly our waterways, are under threat from climate change and united action with other water sports provides greater voice to champion change.
-
Green Events: Expand our green event guidelines to support smaller, developing nations in their efforts to minimize the environmental impact of our competitions, such as reducing waste, promoting recycling, and using renewable energy sources.
5
Championing Global Diversity and Inclusion
-
Resources and Facilities: I will advocate for improved access to high-quality resources and facilities for athletes worldwide, especially those from underserved regions. Ensuring that every participant, irrespective of their socio-economic background, has the opportunity to nurture their talents is essential.
-
Scholarships and Grants: Enhance our scholarship and grant offerings for athletes from small federations and low-income backgrounds to support their training, education, and travel to international competitions.
-
Equal Opportunities: My commitment is to foster diversity and inclusion across all levels within our organization. Securing our place in the Paralympics is a critical agenda item. By implementing policies and initiatives that promote equality, we can ensure that every participant feels valued, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or gender. This includes developing a pathway for Intellectually Impaired athletes through to World Championship level.
-
Mentorship Programs: Review and refresh our mentorship programs to include pairing young athletes with experienced mentors to guide their development and provide support.
6
Marketing and Communications
-
Amplifying current projects: We have already accomplished many great things at World Triathlon of which we should all be proud. We have made significant strategic investments in systems, IT, marketing, and communications. My goal is to continue supporting and amplifying these initiatives to position our sport even more prominently on the global stage.
-
Enhancing Digital Platforms: Continuing to improve our digital presence by completing the transformation of our footprint including the upgrade to our website, apps, and social media channels to provide real-time updates, athlete profiles, and interactive content to engage fans and stakeholders.
-
Marketing Campaigns: Launch global marketing campaigns that highlight the success stories of our athletes and events, showcasing the inspirational journeys and triumphs within our community including the pathways for age group athletes to re-position our World Championships as the premier event for that demographic.
